Bug started exploring her passion for art with her mother when they started an interior decorating company called Valentine Interiors. From there her interest grew and she went on to study art at Stanford University and Schaeffers School of Design. She also attended a number of workshops at the local colleges. Bug started with artistic mediums of water colors and acrylics. Her passion expanded to include monotype print-making and collages. She was an experimental artist who emphasized portraying shapes and forms of nature. Most recently Bug produced countless watercolor images at Elderwise, a senior program for people with dementia.
